Yes. Brewing, the journal, and your bags and gear stay free and uncapped. Coado+ is optional (€3,99/mo or €34,99/yr) for insights, the coach, cloud backup & sync, and the full recipe library.
No. Open the app and brew. An account is only if you turn on Coado+ cloud sync (Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email code). The app sends anonymous product events so we can improve it; your journal notes and photos stay on the device unless you choose cloud sync.
Yes. The timer and journal run at the counter with wifi off. Optional bag lookups and Coado+ sync need a network when you use them.
Beginners who want a simple pour, and people who already tweak grind and ratio. Simple mode keeps it easy; advanced mode opens the dials when you’re ready.
